The Paradiski is one of Europe's largest ski areas (425km of piste) and consists of 2 main areas:

• La Plagne 225 km of piste (134 slopes: 15 black/expert, 30 red/advanced, 72 blue/intermediate ans 10 green/beginner), and a large off piste skiing area.
• Les Arcs 200km of piste with 106 slopes

Montchavin, Chalet de la Vanoise, is situated within the La Plagne sector, but is also very close to the Les Arcs sector via the "Vanoise Express". The Vanoise Express is a double-decker 200 person capacity cable car that will take you to the Les Arcs sector in just 4 minutes.
